It can be done, but perhaps its time for new coolant and a flush.

Put a 1/4" OD nylon or polyethelene tube into the reservior and syphon that out. The try to get the tube into the hose going from the bottom of the reservior, by going thru the bottle. Get it doen as far as will go and you can remove fluid to below the upper hose. You can get over 1 US gallon this way. So don't leave the syphon for a long time unattended going into a jug. I use a large syringe to get the syphon going. Remember that the coolant will cause kidney damage and perhaps death is ingested. If you spill it, it will attact pets and animals and will kill them. So clean it up and/or flush it away.

You might just try tightening that clamp!
