speaker cover removal

We had a slight mishap and milk got spilled in the front passenger compartment. It splashed on the speaker cover of the speaker that is on the door. The speaker still seems to be working fine. Every time I look at the speaker though, I see the milk crud in the holes and it is gross. Is there a way to take off that cover and clean it? I am also afraid that it will start to smell sour. Thanks for any advice!
