Let us know how it works out.
The cel will self cancel after a few days of start/shutdown cycles.
The MBC will not cause a misfire. It will cause a fuel cut which will not cause a cel.
However, higher boost pressures cause higher coil voltages, which are required to break down the denser air/fuel charge in the spark gaps. Plug condtion can play a part in this as well. So the MBC may have challenged your DI which was already degraded or vulnerable.
There is no CEL fuse, but you might find some other fuses marked DI or ECU or things like that. Have you recorded the CEL pusle pattern, if it displays it all? Don't have the ignition on or radio while doing such things. Do you have the radio code?
Install the DI and if things run smooth, don't worry about the CEL. It will go away. If you have any misfiring, you will feel it! If you disconnect the power, the ECU will have to go through adaption all over again.
