I have Pirelli tires: 205/50R16. The tire has an incredibly high upper limit 51PSI. However the Saab owner Manual for the 1996 SET calls from pressures as follows:
1. Only the driver 33 PSI
2. Full load (+ luggage) 36 PSI.
So, if you opted for 34PSI you are probably in the correct range.
Just my opinion I am certainly NO expert.
