Trade 96 900S Conv (63K) & $2000 for 96 900SET(112k)??

I enjoy my 900S Conv (original owner), but the acceleration in the 0-30 MPH range lacks when I occasionally want to go.
I am exploring options for building up the NA engine, but my wife came up with this other option to consider.
Assuming maintenance records are in place and the SET drives sound, is it worth considering. That is a lot of unknown miles to give up (50k)plus 2 grand. My car has never had a mechanical problem , with 63k easy miles.
As I write this it sounds less and less like a good deal, but maybe I am wrong.
