I had the CEL recently come on and after checking around I noticed I had a cracked hose behind the throttle body (closest to the firewall). I replaced the hose today and now the engine almost stalls when in neutral. The hose is approximately 12 inches in length with a narrow opening (not sure of the diameter) that connects to another hose that runs out of the front passenger side wheel well. I am a novice at best primarily doing preventive maintenance so please over simplify things when explaining.
Thanks
btw the CEL is still on, I have cleaned out the throttle body and the IAC, changed spark plugs and ignition wires. When the light came on the a/c went a little crazy causing severe idle fluctuations when the car was not in gear. The ACC sounds a little different now too.
