Thanks Michael and Anders for taking the time to check those numbers. I called the dealer from whom I requested information 2 1/2 weeks ago and explained I wanted to order the manuals. He apologized for not getting back but said that Saab will not sell factory manuals to individuals. Go figure.
I just got off the phone with Trollhattan who called Saab and then called me back and I will be getting the manuals from them in a few days. I decided for starters to get the V6 Engine.. + Engine Mgmt. Systems for 28.95+21.00=49.95. The electrical manual is 59.00 so I thought I'd wait to see how far these two books take me + the Haynes I just got + the EPC parts CD (which is actually pretty good) + the fairly useless repair CD I have.
The parts guy said I could check with a local Indie Shop named "Swedish Underground" and he might be able to get me some manuals. So Saab does not sell manuals to individuals and a dealer parts guy refers me to an Indie: these are strange times indeed. (The Indie's name sounds a little too funereal and for my tastes).
