Yes, you can install a viggen IC in about 3 or 4 hours. The turbo discharge hose is not used again. When you had it blown off, did you go after the discharge silencer in the aluminum hard pipe? The hose from the IC to teh TB can be redused and extended with a piece of the ahrd pipe which is no longer needed.
When you fit these turbo hoses on, they need to be clean and oil free. This helps the pressure of the clamp develop enough friction to hold the hose from slipping. Some have had trouble getting things on and put silicone grease on things, as big mistake. The blow off force is equal to the pressure time the cross sectional area of the id of the hose.
If you install, hack 1/2 to 5/8 inch of the new turbo discharge hose, at the turbo end, so it sits a bit higher and does not have the AC pipe bending into it.
