I have the exactly same dtc on my '94 900S 2,3. No need to say that my CE light is always on, too. I had mine read at an independent shop, which had Motronic diagnostic system. The interpretation of the code was the same as in Bentley Publishers' table. The guy from the shop said that it _might_ be a vacuum leak. I had that checked out and one of the vacuum hoses was replaced. Didn't help, though. The light came back on the second day after. I assume that the O2 sensor 'evaluates' that there is too much oxygen in the exhaust gases and therefore asks the ECU to switch the CE light on. Have you read the trouble code from the CE light blinks? I got a 7-3, which means 'Adaptation, short term'. I hope this helps. If you have any luck with your car, please email me. Remove the 'nospam' from the email address.
Br,
Tero
