Clean and inspect the coil face, look for signs of tracking. Coils have always failed. I don't know why this one would be different, but I don't recal a post of one failing. So who knows. But you have 3 coils..... Probably all one chunk. $$$
Injectors, battery
If you have not changed the fuel filter, that would be a good next move. Get the two pairs of new sealing washers too. If the rubber one one is torn when removed, thats a problem. If that does not help, maybe the fuel pump or pressure regulator.
What you described sounds consistent with a lack of fuel delivery.
However, with open throttle, plugs are harder to spark and weaknesses in the coils, plugs or cables can show up at higher manifold pressures.
Front plugs look like?
Oil from the valve cover gasket is running into the spark plug wells and fouling the plugs? If so, have these blown free of oil and the sand that will be stuck into it before removing the plugs. This oil leak and plug problem has been seen several times. Yep, those back three plugs are a PIA. So you are looking at a new valve cover gasket or two and new plugs while things are exposed.
