If you had the car since new and know the history, it's a good thing to keep it.
As always, is the timing belt replaced at 95K and the whole tensioner update kit installed? Otherwise, do it as soon as possible.
That $500.00 job is the make or break thing that will change your car from a decent driving machine to a pile of unusuable junk, ( if the timing belt would to break)
If you had the full 95K service done at a good Saab shop, you don't need plugs and wires at this point, it should last you until 125K service.
If you have an automatic transmission, I have yet to see one go bad. Only the selector switch on top goes bad.
The manual trannys have a weak spot with the reverse gear, and have a tendency to break down if abused to much. The abuse comes gradually with a deteriorating clutch and clutch cable.
