OK. Just starting to understand this then... let me get this clear...
it's shocks vs. struts. not both at the same time. This is a beginning.
1. the 97 se doesn't have shocks in the front.. just struts? It comes with shocks in the rear only. (I hear a crunchy squeeky sound when going over speed bumps and the car 'floats' over long bumps in roads)
2. i can install shocks all around and not have to worry about struts
(this will give the car a different feel based on the shock itself... but generally a more responsive feel.. trading off some comfort)
3. generally, if I buy shocks for 400 bones... it will take another 125 to have them installed (if I get the strut mounts replaced this is an extra charge... even though the shocks will go with the strut mounts... no longer having struts in the car)
OK. Thanks in advance. The light is dim... but getting brighter.
