Infinity Reference dash speaker install

Just thought I would pass along my thoughts on my newly installed Infinity 3052cf dash speakers.
Installation was easy. Didn't bother to ensure that + went to +. I just made sure that both were hooked up in phase. FYI - there is a "1" and "2" stamped on the Saab connector. Just made sure that the leads for the "1" wires went to the same size connectors on the 2 new speakers.
I got these speakers for $28 (inlcuding shipping) on eBay. They are much better than stock. I can max the volume with NO distortion at all. Listening is A LOT less fatiguing than with the stock speakers. The muddiness of low freqs is gone (I had previously thought the muddiness was the door speakers - it wasn't!).
The Infinity's are much fuller sounding. In fact, I wish they had a little more treble - I have treble turned to 3/4 and bass to 1/3 and they sound very good.
Well worth the $28 - don't think the Kappa's would be all that much better. I am now beginning to realize how mediocre the head unit is!
For what it's worth... Rob
