Interior Light Switch does not light......

The switch does not have a bulb as it does not light-up. The switch is designed and positioned so that the driver slides their hand down the emergency brake lever and finds the interior light switch.
As odd as it sounds, all the Saab center console switches are designed to be accessed by feel rather than sight. The intent is for the driver to keep their eyes on the road and be able to acess the correct switch by feel.
The reason for this odd set-up is partly because of Saab's aircraft background where the pilot uses feel for accessing many switch functions, and the internal culture at Saab that believes it is the correct way to do it. The new 9^3SS may break from some of these Saab culture 'rules' to attempt to attract more mainstream buyers.
