Well, I don't have a 95SET any more. What will I do with my life when I am not posting here?! The possibilities are boundless, perhaps the boredom will be boundless too!
My wife will wonder what to do with me when I am not under the Saab all weekend! Perhaps she will miss the 95SET for that very reason.
She loved that Saab too. I did not let her drive it much. Everytime I did a second gear run whe would get this huge smile on her face. Do all gals like G forces. (ok, we will not do G-spot jokes)
So what did I bring to this BB.
TBTC mod
Air box funnel mod
Turbo compressor discharge silencer removal (via Brad at KC Saab/Georges imports)
MBC's on T5's ( I only did that to bug TC :)
Relocate of MBC pressure taps, but any Turbo book would make that obvious.
POP-off valve, no one else will bother!
Is that all there was. Nope, I had a wonderful time learning and sharing. And the debates and cat fights were great. I might have stirred things up a couple of times when the BB seemed to be too quiet for comfort. I do have enough rough edges to be interesting. ;}
Advice: be careful upgrading an older vehicle, it does not take much of an accident to write it off and you don't get extra money for 3 or 4 thou in modifications. If the damage gets close to the book value, they will not fix it. A new vehicle and they would fix for the same damage.
So whats left? I have an extra set if Viking wheels, set of Saab steelies with hub caps, a new engine mount and a new subrame brace in the unopened shipping boxes. Now I have to call and see if I can return these for some money. And other stuff too. Pehaps I will have a sale in the Classified's and/or freebies some day soon. And yes, a spare red DI cassette.
So I checked for how many posts I have on the NG900 BB, and this is post 2378.
