My 98 900SET has 119k miles on it, and has developed an occasional whine, which I think may be the early stages of wheel bearing failure.

This is most noticeable if cruising at 80 or so mph, when a small steering input, perhaps a gentle curve, especially a right hand one, will sometimes cause a gentle whine or moan, seemingly from the left had rear wheel. This noise sometimes goes away when you straighten up, but is never constant, and comes and goes.

I have jacked the car up, and rotated all of the wheels, and they all spin freely and quietly, and rocked them to check for wear or slackness in the bearings, but there is none.

Any ideas, or should I just let it go and see if it gets worse.
