My 1998 900SET is metallic Silver and I really like Griot's Garage Best of Show Wax. It is a liquid varnuba based wax that is easy on and easy off. Some of the tests (like the waxtest.com) only rate the Griot's wax a "B+". I fine that the beading and the gloss increase with multiple applications. Because it is easy to use, I actually find time get both my cars waxed about every 3-4 months.
As far as tire dressing I like both Stoner "More Shine Less Time" which is a silicone based product, lasts very well, and is an aerosol for easy 'no touch' application; and Griot's Garage Vinyl and Rubber dressing which is water based, also lasts a long time, but is a liquid the needs to be trigger sprayed on and then wiped off with a sponge or towel.
