94SE. Replaced mine a year ago. Get these parts and it will be trouble free for another 75-100k;

Rubber grommet into back of valve cover - 2.00

Breather nipple (plastic) this is the part you broke - 6.00

small diameter vacuum line (you were trying to install this)

short piece of larger diameter hose (this is the bigger piece, about 1/2" ID, 4" long) that goes from the breather nipple to the metal rail - 6.00

ventilation (plastic) valve en route from the breather nipple to the base of the throttle body - 12.00

make sure you also replace the short section of vac line from the ventilation valve to the TB.

Since you already have the hose, you can get the other parts online (TALIAFERRO SAAB, OR OTHERS)or at your local dealer. I drove mine for about a week with that nipple broken attempting to do just what you did. Car ran without incident. Dont Panic.
