The plastic shroud Dean is referring to is just a contoured piece of plastic that covers the IAC and some hoses. I guess Saab thinks it makes the engine look better if one can't see any of the parts. It's just a tiny bit tricky to remove, IIRC. I think you have to pull up on the edge closest to the firewall, then pull the other end, the end closest to the engine back towards the firewall. Once you have it off it'll be perfectly clear how to remove it next time. :) THe IAC is a silver metal cylinder a little smaller than a coke can to the pass. side of the throttle body. It will have an electrical conn. on one end and a ~7/8" hose attached to to sides. R&Ring the IAC can be done in less than 5 minutes, even with the car hot. A new one is "Saab standard pricing", about $350, and didn't solve my car's idle issues.
