You are needing to adjust if because there is a mechanical problem which causes the brake shoes to not retract. This wears them out an wastes fuel. The breake shoes are small, expensive and dealer only items.

So you need to remove the caliper and rotor and get in there and clean a lubricate to gets things working right. search for drs<underscore>install and look for the rear brake work post.

A dealer or indy might just do the adjustment, then you would be back later needing the shoes and rotors.

There is a hole in the face of the rotor's hub area and a a star wheel inside can be adjusted with a screwdriver blade. Sometimes this must be used to slacken the ajustment if the brake shoes will not allow the rotor to come off.

Note that there is really zero wear on the p-brake and it should outlast the vehicle. Any wear is a signal to fix a problem, not tighen the noose around your neck.
