Replaced front pads and rotors - now having problems

Followed Dean's posting for replacing front pads and rotors. Used Zimmerman cross drilled rotors with Saab pads. Replacement went just as expected. Pedal pressure is fine and car stops. However, there is a pulsating noise/feel coming from the front driver side. Everything is tight as far as I can tell. The pulsing lessens as the car slows down. If you are traveling slow and hit the brakes the car seems to stop normally.
Otherwise the car is driving and handling normally. Any idea on what I did wrong? or where I should start. Dean are you out there?
