Canadians know lots of sh*t :)
Some this is normal. The more mods that you make with a mbc, the more responsive the engine, the faster the turbo spoolup and the more fuel cuts in cold weather.
So, you have to learn to use the throttle differently, but if you are underway and get off and on the throttle quickly, it will bite you.
What seems to help is, yes turning it down, putting the pressure tap someplace else than at the turbo compressor, and a pop-off valve, which is too much time and money, IE I did it once and that was enough. A Viggen IC might help too. My 95SET was doing very well in the cold air, but it no-more and we will never know.
And you could try a 33-40 ohm resistor on the mbc's grey output wire. This would move the fuel cut pressure somewhat.
