97 900 SE:
I pulled, then replaced the battery and now get "Code in". No surprise. I enter the correct code (have the card so no doubt here) then nothing. The display shows the digits that I've entered, but after I've entered the 4th digit, no change. Doesn't complain about the wrong code, just sits there with the digits I've entered being displayed, even after I shut off the car. This behaviour is repeatable. No radio, just 4 digits on the display.
The above is new behaviour now; after the first time I had to pull the battery I got the radio to work fine but the CD player would not work. I disconnected the battery again (reboot the cd player?)(software guy) in an attempt to get the CD player back and now I get nothing.
I'll wait until it warms up a bit later this week, maybe the backup battery in the radio is getting low on Vs.
