Did I get screwed on these cooling system repairs?

I had to deal with a major coolant leak on my '94 900SE V6 and couldn't get to the dealer that, believe it or not, seems to be the most reasonable and trustworthy. Local repair shop charged me:
2.5 labor hours ($225) for changing the upper & lower radiator, heater and coolant recovery hoses. Parts: Upper hose $65, lower hose $74, heater hose set $152, resevoir to engine hose $39.
1.8 labor hours ($162) for changing thermostat. Parts: roughly $70 for thermostat/parts.
This was all on top of $80 for the BG flush/fill and a $50 environmental/shop (re: take it in the shorts) fee.
I think they know they have you when the car is basically not driveable, you need the car fixed, and it's sitting in their shop. I, for one, don't know what the proper labor hour charges should be for a particular job to challenge the estimate. It also seems like anything a Saab needs repaired is ridicuously expensive and I can't trust any shop to not try to run the bill up with additional repairs, etc.
Anyone have an opinion on these charges?
Thanks,
Carl
