The Saab stainless system is a great exhaust. It fits without any issues and is an easy install.
The exhaust does get a little louder after the packing has broken in. If you live in colder climates you will also notice it produces more "noise" when the air is cold and crisp.
I have it installed on my 900 SET (turbo) and I love the sound as I'm on the throttle in 2nd and 3rd gear in the summer with the windows down, but on the highway it does tend to drone. I've noticed this and my wife complained because she thought something was wrong with the car.
Is it objectionable? No, but the system could use a straight through center resonator to take the "edge" off. While the turbo does "eat" some of the exhaust note, you will be louder if installed in a non-turbo Saab.
"Noise" is relative. Some can't get it quiet enough, others can't get it loud enough. I would like to think I'm somewhere in the middle.
