Search my posts for procedures for the front vc gasket on the 6'er, can't take all the credit, though, this bb gets most of it. Note that there are issues with what type of gasket sealant you use, Anders says stay away from the silicone sealant, and I agree, my fronts with the silicone are leaking again and started leaking right away after the fix (ready for their 3rd, or 4th replacement!), the rears with the black stuff arent' leaking yet. You should pull and clean the plugs while you are at it, they're likely soaked with oil. Be careful removing the vc, new ones are expensive to replace if you crack it, and DONT overtorque the vc bolts, I stripped one that is now leaking also but for a big pile of goo I put on there, I think the torque is like 9 ft/lbs, real loose. Good luck and have fun
