search for deans<underscore>list for tuning options

The Potenza S-03 is widely considered to be your best choice of performance tire.

Do get snows, steel rims are $38 each at tirerack.com with a snowtire purchase.

Koni shocks are great, around $570 plus install. search drs<underscore>install and see if you want to do things yourself

Get a new DI cassette from europarts.com and use it and keep the old one in the trunk as a spare

speaking of spares, try to put a full size tire in there before you purchase anything

I think that you can go to any dealer and have then search the VIN and they can list all maintenance done at any Saab dealer.

Make sure everything works, fog lamps, heated seats, AC, head lamp wipers, washer jets, all 5 of them, rear wiper parking brake. Check for uneven brake pad wear, especially the rear brakes. If the P-prake needs adjustment, the rotor has to come off and the mechansim cleaned and lubed. Adjusting the p-brake is only tighening the noose around your neck, as wear only occurs when things are wrong.

Check for engine leaky rear seal.

Engine off, turn on ignition, don't start. Make sure that you can see the engine oil pressure light on. If you don't know where it is, read the owners manual. No owners manual.... thats a problem.
