Ok so like many of you I?m in the process of tracking down a busted seat heater element. I?ve decided to replace the entire heater element but want to check to make sure I only need to order the one. I already checked the switch.
After look at the manual I figured all I need to do was locate the right wire and test it. However I couldn?t find the one I need and thought the UK manual many be different then the US car? I also realized there are a few more connections at the back of the seat then I thought. I check the manual for wire color but they say I should be looking for a 2 wire connectors with one yellow and one back wire. However what I found was 3 Connections.
1 connector with 2 black wire
1 connector with 1 yellow and 1 yellow/red wire
1 connector with 3 wires yellow, yellow/red and back.
My question is which one do I check for resistance to see if I have a break in the bottom seat heater element.
Thanks
JFF
