I have a 1996 900SEt, 160k miles. I've been hearing a wierd click/ping noise that seems to be coming from my right front wheel well. It sounds like a solenoid or relay clicking over repeatedly ( or a little like a guitar string being plucked). I can't quite nail down the location.. I can hear it under the hood, as well as in the wheel well. If I put my hand on the front R quarter panel, just above the wheel well, I can actually FEEL it in the sheet metal. Any clues? The sound is at an irregular interval, and sometimes it isn't there at all. Also, if I cut the engine, but leave the lights on, the noise stops.

I haven't had the car that long (3000 miles-ish) so I'm not sure whats up there. BTW, I just had the right headlight go out, so I replaced the bulbs in both sides - as well as replaced the right front fog light that was busted - could either of these be related?
