There have been many posts on this topic. I just fixed mine last weekend. I have a '96 900S.

First look near drivers side front fender inside engine compartment by washer fill. You will see the washer hoses coming out of the fender - 3 I think. Two hoses run aft along the fender edge next to the hood release cable. (A third goes forward to the headlights from a T fitting -feed from front window washer). One of the rubber hoses running alone the fender goes to front window nozzles. The other starts out as rubber but goes to a PVC tube. That's the supply to rear nozzle. Pull apart this nipple - it's just a fitting without a valve in it. Turn on your rear washers - engine running. If washer fluid pumps out then your problem is downstream. In my case I could hear the pump running but no fluid. So...

There is a check valve that's probably clogged located inside the front drivers side fender. Easy to fix. Remove drivers side front parking light assy - 1 screw from top next to headlight - don't remove - just loosen. Pull light unit forward and out. Look inside and you will see "L-check valve" inside fender at point hoses go thru grommet.

Pull it off and replace with new - I bought Audi replacement part (same as SAAB) from my Saab dealer for $3.50. Saab part is $15.00. You can also take them apart and fix yourself - lots of posts on that too.

Fluid will just trickle out of rear nozzle when your done.

Also front window washer check valves often fail - heat under hood softens diaphram inside. They are easy to see and replace - next to nozzles under hood.

For front headlight washers remove front grill - easy no tools and you will see "T-check valve" just behind drivers side headlight. Note this one is special as flow to headlight washers is reduced - mine has a red cap. I'd purchase a T or L and take the inside workings out and install in to the existing T for front lights.

hope that helps you
