Check engine, stumbling, and grey smoke

My 95 900S 2.3 has been idling just a little rough for the past few weeks. Not enough to see it on the tach, but I can feel the roughness in the seat of my pants.

Friday, the chack engine light came on. I started the drive home (up a long hill) halfway up, the light went off, the came back on at the top.

The next day it was very foggy and about 45deg. I drove down the same hill, and found some stumbling on acceleration. Like if I were coasting and lightly pressed the gas, the car would stumble and slow down before speeding up. This is especially noticeable with the cruise control on. After a downhill where it has been coasting, the car presses the gas, and it causes stumbling for a fraction of a second. It is noticeable because the cruise used to be so smooth in its throttle application, and now I can feel it.

Also, there seems to be more engine braking than normal sometimes. Not like there is drag in the drivetrain, but just like the engine itself slows the car down faster.

When the clutch is pressed in to come to a stop, sometimes the engine will stumble and then pick back up at normal idle speed. Also, this morning when I started the car (29deg), the idle speed was very low and the idle very rough for 5-10 seconds. When the idle sped up (to 1500 which seems high to me), there was a cloud of grey smoke behind the car.

And everything was fine two weeks ago!!!

What's going on!?!?
