Clunking noise, front right strut?

I've been cultivating this clunking noise on the front right of my car. Inititally I had chalked it up to the cold weather, after reading a lot about the bushings and general noises on the BB. However, it's been getting more pronounced and doesn't necessarily go away as the car stretches its legs.

It's somewhat difficult to reproduce, but I've found that if I break hard, say from about 30 mph, while turning slighting to the left, I can get a mild, repetitive clunk. Other times, which I can't reproduce, it's a much louder sound, but doesn't seem to correlate with anything that I can figure out.

I've had the car a little less than a month and it checked out well from my mechanic. Unfortunately, the used car warrantee the dealer gave me only covers the powertrain. Doh!

Any thoughts? Easy fix? I don't have a lot of DIY experience with cars, nor do I have a garage or good weather to work in... bu if it's something that can be resolved relatively easily, I might give it a wack.
