Philips "VisionPlus" headlight bulbs....(longish).

I installed a set of Philips 'VisionPlus' H4 headlight bulbs last night. I had installed a new set of Philips 'Premium' H4 bulbs just last week. The difference was amazing! The VisionPlus are whiter and brighter.
The Philips 'VisionPlus' bulbs are advertised as +50% brighter than a 'standard' bulb.
The Philips 'Premium' bulbs are advertised as +30% brighter than a 'standard' bulb.
All I can say is that Philips VisionPlus really make a huge difference, even over the Philips Premium bulbs.
I know that many NG900 owners are less that thrilled with the headlights on their Saab. This may be an inexpensive way to upgrade your headlights and still use a 60/55 watt rated bulb (no risk of melting the wires or reflector). I am using E-code (european style) headlights from Stern Lighting (see the classified section of Saabnet for Stern lighting), but these bulbs will work with the stock USA DOT headlights as well.
I bought mine through Autolamps-Online for $28 USD a pair (I bought 2 pair so I would have a spare set) with free air freight from the UK. I have no history with the VisionPlus bulbs, but if they are like the Philips Premium bulbs I have used for years, then they will not degrade or burn-out quickly.
