I own a Saab 900SE turbo convertible (US model) which I have been having problems with the power seats. The first problem to arise was the passenger seat would occasionally not work. Recently I noticed that the driver seat started to do the same. Then while I was driving and the seat started automatically moving to a preset (memory) location. Nothing was hitting the button it was just doing it on it's own. The problem was it was going to my wife's position which is considerably closer to the dashboard that where I sit. I was able to move the seat back a bit but then it stopped half way. Since then it has moved when there is some kind of jolt to the seat (putting the back of the seat to the normal position after getting in the back seat, closing the door, etc). Also it does still occasionally work but when it does the seat moves in a pulsing motion. Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this? I figure it is a loose wire but I can’t find anything that looks bad.
