The first thing to look at is the wheels. Get them rebalanced and make sure that you ask that they check for bent wheels. Wheels are in harms way and they do get bent. A bent wheel can be balanced spinning in the air, but it can be nasty on the road. Weak shocks can make wheel problems much more pronounced.

If all of the above is good, examine the tie rod ends and the ball joints. I really don't think that the engine is the problem. Bad mounts will tend to show up with high loads and lower speeds. If you are at highway speed where things shake and go into neutral, that will settle that issue.
