It was very, very hard for me. I have done a lot of suspension work. I have replaced many shocks and struts myself. The NG900 front strut inserts were *exceedingly* difficult to replace. Not only a lot of unusual and time consuming disassembly is required to extract the struts from the car, you are also very likely to encounter significant difficulties dismantling the strut housings, even with proper tools. The top nut the holds the strut insert inside the housing can be very difficult to remove. On my car, one side gave up relatively easy, although still with considerable effort on my part. The other side was an absolute nightmare to remove and I spent many hours of very hard physical effort to do it.
The rears, on the other hand, are extremely easy and quick.
