I used 4 mm inside diameter silicon tubing and it kept popping off of various connections (though it does seem like the correct diameter). I had to use plastic ties to get them to stay on. I do have an MBC, which could be the culprit. No problems now. Silicon is supposed to last forever. Does is look cool with blue tubes all over, I dunno. Most are covered by the black TB cover anyway.
