The OEM retaining nut was used, not the one that came with the Koni!!!! The koni nust rests on the ridge on top of the shock body. The OEM nut is slightly too big for the shock body and rested outside of the little ridge on the body itself! They also said the other side (passenger) was installed using the OEM nut!! Eventually, it will loosen up and start banging away in there until the shock destroys itself.
I had the B+G and Konis installed at Swedish Specialties in Falls Church...I'm going to have re-do the passenger side. I can't believe they wouldn't use the nut that came with the Konis...they don't event fit right!
