Fuel line replace/ radio gone!!! (long) Posted by Gregg [Email] ![]() ![]() |
So, I was traveling back from Pinehurst, NC and passing through Greensboro, NC when the check engine light came on. After some quick calls I had the number for Tom at Townsend Imports and I was on my way. Tom was nice enough to hook up the Tech 2 and diagnose a bad air fuel mixture. He pointed me to the hose and said it was an easy DIY. Home I went.
Back in Charlottesville, VA I went to Advanced and picked up the hose and clamps. I had everything off and was working speedily when I got the bright idea to disconnect the negative on the battery before disassembling the hose.
Well, the hose was replaced no problem. I connected the battery and went to start up the car. Crank the key and it STARTED. Yippy. I turned on the radio and entered the code and nothing... The code is still reading on the display but no radio. Any thoughts? Did I fry the radio? I tried to do everything by the book and this is what happened.
Still, kudos goes out to Tom for his help today. Just one more reason to go to Saabnet sponsors.
