Well, yes & no.
Yes, because you obviously have no turbo bearings to protect (sorry I missed that!). The better HT/HS rating isn't as critical, even if it is still desirable.
No, because even though the 5W/10W-30 Amsoil is great stuff, it's definitely comparable to M1 5W/10W-30 & not to the 0W-40. Between those three oil choices, if you want to compare to M1's 0W-40, it's got to be Amsoil's 10W-40.
Since you already know the climate will be warmer, & you like the difference in "engine feel" by going to the M1 0W-40, I still say go with the 10W-40 offer. Besides, you're only getting one change-worth, & then (I assume) you're going back to M1 0W-40, right? If someone made me that offer for my N/A C900 here in Colorado, I'd jump on it in a heartbeat. Especially after running M1 15W-50 in it this past winter.
