If your alternator is wired Y then It can be wired delta and increase the output by 30%. Chances are your alternator is already delta and nothing can be done.
How much power will be needed.
300 amps @ 12 volts is 3600 watts/750= 1hp =5 =hp
The belt will melt at 5 hp.
To deliver 5 hp with a belt it uses 5 hp extra to pull 5 hp so 10 hp on belt.
You might put solar on top and a couple of wind mills.
If you have to do the crazy amount of power then get a truck alternator @ 165 amps and fab it on with extra belts.
Or add another alternator with the existing one.
When an alternateo gets to hot then it cant't put out near its rated power. The heat adds resistance to the coils. Once this happens a 90 amp alt then puts out 45 and that is the real issue.
