Fix or trade: 1994 900S, 2.3 non-turbo, 4dr, AT, 125k miles; needs motor mounts, middle muffler, CV joint, maybe new distributor. Probably about $1200 of work (I realize I could probably do this all myself but I'd rather not). I've spent alot of money on this car at the dealer and am losing patience with the car (and giving up on the dealer and going to an Indy), including $2500 plus last year on timing/balance chain issues, water pump, etc. It will probably need new brakes all around and strut mounts in 12-24 months. I'm okay driving a 10 year old car with lots of miles, but starting to question these economics (sunk cost fallacy, etc.). Advice?
