I recently bought a 96 900s with 56,000 miles. The car has the a few issues, input shaft seep, broken antenna mast (just fixed it) and strange flashing alarm led. Recently when I was waiting in line at the DC inspection station the interior light/antenna motor fuse #4 blew. The antenna had the plastic track broken and wasn't operating. Anyway I recently replaced the fuse and mast and have encountered a rather strange problem. When I replaced the 7.5 fuse with a brown atc fuse from autozone the car would start and then shutdown. When the fuse was returned to raise the mast the car would again quickly stall out. I am fine with the mast raised; however I would like to have a few interior lights and still be able to start my car. Did I simply use the wrong fuse? Do I have some strange electrical ghost? Any help you be great.
