Window leak - convertible

Was hoping someone experienced this issue. My 95 900 SE convertible drivers window has obviously seen a lot of up/down usage over the years. I am getting a contious leak a few inches past the end of the A frame and at the back of the window. The rubber seems to not cover the window as much as compared to passenger side, plus window has about 1/4 inch play in it. It's worse when I am in a drive through, have the window down and it's drizzling/raining. I get constant drips in those two same places coming into the cabin.

Local mechanic has played with window to get it to go up as far as possible, but it's alway a game of give and take with stopping leak in front, creating wind noise/leak in rear area. Body shop guy says bushings for window are likely going to fix issue.

Think it's window bushings, rubber as part of A frame, window regulator or something else? With the constant rain the past week here in the southeast, my left shoulder and left knee/leg is constitantly getting drips of water.
Appreciate any information! Scott
