Hello,
I currenly own a '96 900S and I feel that the steering isn't as tight as a turbo and that the suspenson is bouncy and rough. I know what the turbos feel like because my dad has owned a 97 900SET and now a 99 9-3SE hot. I would like to replace the rear sway bar with a SAS one. Will I notice large improvements in cornering? Also, where can I buy the SAS rear sway bar and how much shoud I expect to pay? I hear that polyeurothane brushings are a large improvement over the rubber ones. What exactly do these new brushings and what exactly will they improve? I plan on mounting 17 inch rims next year, so I am wondering if sport springs will greatly effect the handling and cause tire rubbing or damage underneath the car? What are some good springs in the $300-$400 range. I have been looking at Eibach springs. The car currently has about 78,000 miles and I truly do not know what has been replaced. I am thinking about changing the struts sometime but not for a year or so. What struts are recommended and abou how much do they cost? Are there any other upgrades worth doing to the steering or suspension? Please let me know your advice. Thanks in advance.
