I've had one short hard start episode since changing the air intake temp sensor last Saturday. So, I don't think the air intake temp sensor is the culprit for my car, but I am still waiting for things to warm up here in NY. I am not sure the air intake temp sensor should be on the list as what I was really trying to replace is the coolant temp sensor (p/n in anders reply to me below) that tells the ECU the temp of the engine and thus the spark power. I ended up purchasing the intake temp sensor instead...and put it in anyway cuz you never know. Based on Anders post on my string below, you might add a starter to the list. I am kind of hoping for the time the car won't start, then I will let the dealer diagnos. I may really regret saying that. Knock on wood. Your problem sounds similar to others - hard starts when the engine is warm. Sounds like you have searched the archives pretty thoroughly. My unprofessional guess is that you need an FPR. Complicated cars.
