That car has a 2.3 L????
If so remove the valve cover and look for sludge build up..If it's super clean then your OK.
If it has sludge then, what happens is the sludge falls loose and stops up the screen oil pick up. Thi results in low oil pressure and a wrecked engine.
Always check your oil light to see if it comes on with the key so you know it works.
The screen clogs after time and chances are you will be away from home when it fails so figure on a plan to deal with it when it happens.
If it's clean now implement an oil change program and stick with it and you'll see 200,000 plus.
If mine was sludged up now and still running then I would pull the engine and clean everyting. cheaper the pulling the engine and replacing it.
