I will check into the oil. I have read the posts on it. The only problem is that I have been taking the car to the dealer for most services (ie. 105K and standard oil changes). Please do not attack me yet (too badly at least). It is of course a matter of time and cost. The dealer, well Service manager, treats me pretty well (Checkpoint Saab in Buffalo NY), always a discount, and loaner for the day (a mere $5 in gas). Only problem was my communication error. I asked them to check the antenna for me, and they replaced - damage: $70 mast and $85 labour. Something I could have done for the $25 part at a site sponsor, I know. However, other than that, for $30, I get an oil change, lube, etc, etc, car wash, and an opportunity to drive a 9-5, or this past time, a BMW because the rest of the loaners were checked out - I don't mind. If I had the time to do it myself, I would, but for now this is the route I go. Hopefully work will slow down sooner than later (I have been hearing that for a year now). xw40 it will be. My rear engine seal had been replaced (preventive) when the clutch was replaced prior to purchase - 84K. So I am not overly worried about leaks.
Thanks again Dean!
