134a or something like that. Its the new stuff, not Freon or R12.

You can get that at any parts store in the US. Get a kit with a guage and follow the instructions. Go for 33-34 PSI, that works well.

The kits have leak stop and oil in them. But if you have more than a slow leak it will be futile.

There are reasons why a compressor will go na other than low or no refrigerant. There is a temp switch on the compressor body that will fail from too many cycles if the evaporator anti frost switch doesn't.
