I've run into that as I'm sure most have. I locked onto the drain plug with a vise grip and made it as tight as I could. Then I proceed to strike the end of the vise grip with short hard snaps until it came free. I'd have a replacement drain plug ready or goto wallmart and get the Fram quick drain drain plug. Good luck should be fine.
